Wholesale plus-size dresses
A plus-size dress is not a bigger standard dress. Proportions change across the size range, so a properly graded pattern and a fit sample in the larger sizes are what make the range sell and keep returns down.
- Typical fabrics
- Stretch crepe, jersey, viscose blends, ponte, cotton blends
- Common styles
- Wrap, A-line, empire, shirt, maxi
- Season
- Year-round
- Ordering
- Made to order, with fit samples in extended sizes
Grading that fits
We recommend fit samples in at least one of the larger sizes, not only the sample size. Differences in bust, waist and hip proportion are easiest to correct on the sample.
Size runs for your customer
Plus-size customers often shop by region-specific sizing. Tell us your size chart and the ratio per size you expect to sell, and we will quote on that run.
Available in woven and knitted constructions
Frequently asked questions
How large can a size run go?
Tell us the sizes you need. We confirm the range and grading on the sample.
Is the minimum different for extended sizes?
The minimum is based on the style and fabric, not the size. Larger sizes use more fabric, which is reflected in the price.
